“Police eyeglasses” is a misleading name because people are apt to think that these eyeglasses are being used by the police as sunglasses. It has got nothing to with the police except the name. Advanced technology has helped in offering eyeglasses in different colors giving the user a very wide choice.
In an effort to update its look, police eyeglasses have dropped the word “POLICE” from their logo and replaced it with the letter ‘p’ with a small mirror. The mirror symbolizes the mirror feature of the lenses. The changeover has made a good impression. Police eye glasses are designed for use of men only for the present and the owners think that men’s wear can be matter of fashion also. This is different from the trend to make eyeglasses only for men.
